From the Port of Amalfi is very lovely to reach the Paestum area, for sure one of the most interesting areas in our region. Famous for many things, especially for the Greek ruins of the old city of Paestum, for the delicious buffalo mozzarella, for the amazing and fresh vegetables and the great wineries.
It will be a great experience to do, mixing art with the visit of the most well preserved Greek area in the world after the Parthenon in Athens, where you can visit and walk in three massive Temples. There is also the opportunity to visit the museum where are collected all the archaeological finds, something really interesting.
This old town, is limited by a massive wall on the area north, where are located, by few minutes drive, great buffaloes mozzarella farm.
Here you can admire and really touch the art to take care of this animal, in order to make this delicious food. If we request in advance, you can lovely enjoy this spot having a private tour of the farm and understanding all the mozzarella production steps and the history of the farm.
After that you can seat at their local restaurant, enjoying for sure the mozzarella, the ricotta cheese and all the multiple buffaloes milk derivates. Infact from the pasta, the cakes, the yogurt, the gelato, etc.. almost everything is made using the buffaloes milk and matched with delicious and local vegetables.
After you enjoyed this beautiful experience, your private driver will drive you back to your cruise ship in Amalfi
